The City of Charleston

Reconstruction of the Major Charleston thoroughfare connecting the City of Charleston, James Island and Interstate 26. This project included installing 5,500 feet of new storm drainage with associated structures as well as removal and replacement of 0.6 miles of existing roadway surface.

It also included an architecturally significant median, granite curb, sidewalks, street lighting, intelligent signalization and landscaping. Maintaining daily traffic flow required extensive traffic control and CPM scheduling.
